My father, Leon Hess, began the Toy Truck tradition in 1964 and for more than 60 years, my family and I have proudly carried it forward as part of Hess Corporation.

With the sale of Hess Corporation earlier this year, I am proud to share that the Hess Toy Truck will continue as a privately run Hess family business — ensuring this beloved holiday tradition endures for generations to come.

For decades, our jingle has proudly declared: "The Hess Truck’s back and it’s better than ever!" That promise continues. In 2026, we’ll launch an exciting lineup of new Hess Toys — including a special Collector’s Edition marking this new chapter for our family business. And in the years ahead, you can look forward to an expanding Hess Toy Truck brand that will bring more joy, more innovation, and more reasons to celebrate.
